Who cares about the crowd size? That will be the least important thing about the match. It will be televised and watched by BBC viewers in the UK and broadcast in France. Played in the capital it will get national media attention, not just the Southern papers. Sure, won't be a big crowd but, unless we need the gate money to make ends meet, that should not be an issue. |

Having a decent crowd does a couple of things.
Helps pay the bill
Lends credibility to the code.
May even make the players feel that there is atmosphere and some bugger cares enough to turn up.

They might show highlights on the Super League Show, but that's about it. But this game is an indication of exactly why international RL is never likely to be taken seriously in it's current format.
