| well the storm have destoryed the raiders. clearly they are a threat now
gus said they were no chance early in the year but now with finch its all changed.
manly are showing some form.
tigers are brilliant, dogs are only going to get better, cowboys arent far off.
newcastle have surprised the hell out of me, souths with crocker will get better and dragons defence has been winning games all year.
this is the most interesting nrl race for years, even discounting saints doing well.
all the team that are winning are playing very watchable footy.
the introduction of 2 refs has been brilliant

| Storm were superb today. Slater's second try was great. Inglis is much better utilsed in the centre. Finch is looking like a good signing.
Agreed totally about the 2 refs. Has increased the pace of the game no end.
No mention of the Broncos Dally? Their backline alone makes them very dangerous.

| hot and cold but to be fair yeah, and panthers as well.
and probably titans.
you can rule out cronulla, roosters and raiders and the warriors need to find some form in the next 6 weeks.
out of the rest they all have a very good chance.

34439.jpg winning like never before. decoys. mouse traps. chicken wings. lollie pops. shepperds. the crusher. grapples. big league. In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11

| Dragons have really impressed me so far
Their huge pack is laying the platform for Soward to weave his magic. Weyman, Poore, Creagh, Smith ... are just too dominant

| Friday night, given all of their field possession, was really not a great showing from the Dragooons. Especially when one factors in that they should have lost at the final hooter with that awful video ref decision.

That was a terrible decision at the end.

agreed.
our attack is poor.
our defence is the best in the league
but we wont win the title without attack
hornby aint a 7 and both young and priddis aint the best at 9.
bennett does know how to coach attacking sides so ill wait.
he did say dont judge our attack early in the comp but its dragging on.

mate hornby aint a half back and we are struggling at hooker
getting hunt next year is fine but we can win it this year, but not with the attack the way it is now.
we shouldve beaten the dogs by 20 + with the way our forwards destroyed theirs.
our forwards are carrying the side, and other than soward the backs are struggling.

| I don't think the backs are struggling at all. Boyd, Morris, Scott, Cooper, Sailor, all doing fine. It's the creativity in the halves that's letting the Dragons down. Soward is a brilliant individual player, but his passing game is very poor and struggles to create things on his own. A proper halfback is what's needed.

the problem is soward is really doing both roles ie half and five eigth with hornby doing very little other than passing the ball on.
sowards best position is 5/8th and next year hunt will probably take the half spot leaving hornby to go to hooker
the problem though is we need solutions this year. saints can win it now, stuff next year
