Well confusing, I can quite happily accept we play in the Championship, but when people say Hunslet, Blackpool, Dewsbury ect play in the Championship 1 it just doesnt sound right.
Championship 1 & Championship 2 would have been far better and more appropriate names. |

If you read the link, yes, Henderson does talk about a franchise spot. It is a shame, but that's his choice of what he will talk about. As this is player talking, not a BBC columnist, it's not the BBC's choice of how the championship is presented - just their choice of whether they will talk about it or not.

Btw, Birmingham Bulldogs, when they were in NL3, claimed that they were just 3 years from SL ...
