| Celtic Crusaders do not have a very strong team this year. But they do have a good front row, a very talented scrum half, and a superb full back named Tony Duggan.
Those who have had the pleasure of watching Duggan in the National Leagues last year will remember some sensational attacking runs. The man has a tremendous side step, a good swerve, and great pace.
When one thinks about it, there were only two exciting full backs in Super League last year: Brent Webb and Clint Greenshields. Could Tony Duggan establish himself as number 3 full back in Super League?
It is early days yet. But I think that we will all be talking about Tony Duggan's brilliant attacking performances throughout the season.

| no, but i can see him trying and getting ted a lot running onto them inside balls from van dijk.
Fair play to them for trying to put moves on but in the first half when they kept turning it back for him to run the through the ptb area(complete with 2 blockers nfl stylee) i kept expecting him to get killed.

| He looks decent in a position that is often hard to fill.
You are right on the lack of quality around at full back, but would Briscoe not fall into the top 3 maybe 4?

Briscoe is not bad, but I think that Dugggan will prove himself much better.
I hope he doesn't get himself injured with the planned moves around the ptb that Cat referred to -- moves which other teams will soon plan for.
But watch him back up the team mate who breaks the first line of defence, and watch him in broken play. Those will be the occasions when he runs rings around everyone.

His pass to Hall was worth the entrance money alone...

Cheap shot from the cheap seats.
I have seen many great players throw passes that were intercepted.
How about Ricky Stuart for Australia against Great Britain in the second Test at Elland Road in 1990? Great Britain's centre scored a try immediately on that occasion. Stuart went on to make it up in the last minute with a dummy and an 80 metre run that saw Meninga crash over for the winning try. Does anyone think that Ricky Stuart was not a great player just because of his pass that GB intercepted?

| In answer to the question, no.
I think an English player will be the new star of Super League.

| I think he'll follow a similar pattern to Clint Greensheilds and become a top notc SL Full Back. I was certainly impressed when I watched him in NL last year.

Correct, however the one into the stands later on wasn't of the same quality and the Crusaders scored on the following set. Still a little to learn but very promising.

| I don't think he will be the "new star of super league" but he'll make a name for himself for sure. I was suprised no-one snapped him up earlier TBH. It was quite clear he was better than the national leagues.
