Does anyone know if any pubs in Dublin will have Super League on this weekend, going to Dublin tomorrow for a heavy partying weekend with the lads, and wouldnt mind a bit of rugby along the way, i know a lot will have sky sports, but if anything else is on, it will not be top of the list.

Cheers In Advance icon_cool.gif

There is at least one Aussie pub in the middle of Dublin, I think its a Walkabout. Best bet.

Going on a walking holiday in Morzine next Friday (meant to be skiing, but looks like that may be tricky)!

Anyone know of a bar that will be showing FC v Saints and FC v Wigan. I'm expecting two very depressing games to ruin any enjoyment I may have been looking forward to! icon_rolleyes.gif

We really don't need a separate thread for every person who faces not being in their front room or local when there's a match on. One is more than enough, methinks.

And it should probably be on VT

But it's not really rugby related, so surely sin bin is more appropriate. And I started another thread as people who know about Morzine may never have been to Dublin, and vice versa.

Would it really be SUCH a trauma to have allowed both to remain, if they dont get replies they fall off the page anyway?

But we'll still be on telly this year. Though not this weekend, admittedly. icon_smile.gif

Mind, the Beeb should, absolutely, show the Castleford v Castleford derby. If ever the romance of the Cup was designed to be broadcast, it's Tigers v Lock Lane.

And... where do people watch the rugby in London these days?

Quite fancy watching Saints down the pub tonight.

Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union. www.squadbuilder.co.uk:1883.jpg

The amount of times this has been asked about various locations, would make it ideal for a sticky.

Apologies if this is covered (I'm sure it will be) elsewhere but I've tried searching and cannot find anything.

I'm off to Blackpool today for a stag weekend (original I know) and am hoping to slope off and catch a fair whack of the Saints - Wire game but I'm not sure of the best place to do this.

Ideally I want somewhere away from the hoards of easy women (there will be time for that later) but with a decent atmosphere.

Thanks

Try the hop inn, near the train station. Ask em to put rugby on and they normally do. A few Stanley and Scorpians lads drink in there so it will probably be on anyway. If not try the sports bar, about 2 minutes walk, just ask somone for directions
