Nice attempts at deflection on Hardaker's behalf - but he's not just an idiot, he's a serial idiot; a repeat idiot; an idiot recidivist if you will. So any attempt to mitigate because you want him to take the field for your team, is going to look like what it is - the usual RL fan approach that someone's punishment for misdemeanours should be inversely proportionate to how talented they are, and which team they play for - which of course it shouldn't.

Like many others I don't want him at Wigan, however you can trawl through the internet and find many cases of players drink driving and it's a problem that won't go away. One idiot gets replaced with another, when will it end?
