We are no angels and personally I would like to see the back of hock sooner rather than later. However I am seeing teams week in week out trying to wind Leigh up and slowing the game down to their level . It's the only way the part time teams can keep the score down against a full time team. I saw a lot of this today from Featherstone. Lots of high shots, mostly unpunished and lots of facials on grounded players. I don't remember a single high shot from Leigh only retaliation.

Hock however is a bloody liability. He seems to want to fight more than play and I genuinely think we would have lost at Wakefield if he had hadn't got injured.

Don't take this as a 'Leigh are super perfect' post as I dont think we are and I will be very happy and surprised if we get within 20 points of Wire in the cup game.

Totally disagree. Fev are getting painted as angels here bit some of the high shots were pretty bad. The one on Emmett in the 1st half was appalling and worse than the sending off.

I think this game would have been much better if it had a stronger referee though. Hock should have been binned for the slap without a doubt, the blokes an idiot.

It's one thing to say there's a lot of cards in Leigh games but I bet most are from the opposition.

I think the ref actually said "don't talk to me like that". Should've been a yellow at the very least.

Hock has been a a bit of a tit since he arrived. Got to do something special to change my mind now. I wasn't at all convinced when we signed him and I am genuinely angry that a player like Tom Spencer who would run through brick walls for the team is left out for that clown. Hock needs to smarten up or p*ss off as far as i'm concerned.

i haven't painted fev as angels at all, but leigh fans are insisting that fev players started all the melee's ...the first minute of the game, leigh player reacts to being pushed into touch by throwing handbags and the rest joined in, yes fev were guilty of some stuff but again, i stand by that leigh players were not reacting to over exuberant neanderthals who had no right to be on the same field as their world beating superstars, they were the instigators on many occasions.

He at least used to throw in some world class rugby which (almost) made up for his stupid antics. He had a great debut for us scoring 2 tries but hasn't shown his 'good' side much since. Spencer must be livid at missing out to that moron on current form.

I'd like us to play 70/80 minutes rugby not 30 or 40. Winning is great but would be better if I had actually enjoyed watching the last few games. I also find myself agreeing with some of the comments levelled at us at the moment.

Yep, hard to disagree with some comments. BUT it is hardly one way traffic. Our big 'advantage' is that we seem to be able to 'mix it' and front up but then go straight back into playing rugby. Compared to other teams who, once the game goes into a scrap, completely forget that there is a match going on.

Not proud of games like today but if you win 26 games in a row they aren't all easy games with free flowing rugby and perfect discipline. Teams try to throw you off your game with rough stuff and niggle. We have the best attack and best defence in the league but we can handle ourselves too.

Discipline HAS to improve for the middle 8's though or we will suffer because of it.

Leighs attitude reminds me of an amateur coach who said that the ref will be weaker the more violent we are ...

So if he penalises for a high shot...go higher next time...and if he penalises for that get in his face and go higher and harder

Wood has a big scratch under his eye where he was gouged first, he shouldn't have reacted like he did but anyone who has played Knows it's hard not to.

As for leatherbarrow (the leigh fan, yes he is). Spoilt another game between Fev and Leigh, why does he get this match almost every time it's played. He refuses to give any decisions that will cause Leigh problems.

Wood should be looking at 5 or 6 matches. Threw 2 headbutts, a forearm and then gouges Beswick in the eye all in one tackle. Hope they throw the book at him. Game was scrappy and nasty but Wood was beyond a joke. Seriously grubby actions for a supposed veteran. Easiest red card decision ever.

Please Leigh...lose a game soon. This jealousy thing is getting ridiculous. After all, Fev were angelic today, and the Leigh thugs 'bashed' their to yet another win.
