I feel for the refs a bit because one of them (Hicks I think) said if it was up to him/them then they wouldn't have it so you can hear them, but obviously they have to go with what Sky want.

The SKY Head of Sport should take the opportunity of the new channel packages to make Rugby League on Sky something that a much wider national audience is inspired to identify with. But he needs to get some much posher sounding commentators. Committed RL fans are tied in anyway but people like Terry O'Connor are far too thick and rough sounding to promote the game to a national, middle class audience.
