Interesting to see that Hull have been placed anything from 3rd to 12th.
I appreciate that we have done very poorly the last two years but I think we have a very exciting squad next year and our first choice 17 will be a match for anyone. Hopefully we will shock a few people this season.

1. McGoldrick - Worked on the high ball a lot last year and seems to be doing ok at FB
2. Dixon - Very underated one of our better players
3. Shenton - Need i say anything ?
4. Evans - Too old.
5. Owen - Could turn into a player as good as Shenton this year
6. Chase - Awsome, awsome player.
7. Sherwin - Too old...expect him to play no more than 10 games.
8. Sargent - Good prop.
9. Hudson - Hope his injury doesn't hamper him. Should do well
10. Jackson - Hope he does well.
11. Ferres - Did really well for us last year
12. Snitch - Hopefully can do well
13. Westerman - Needs to improve to prove all the doubters wrong.'"

I was thinking the same. Whilst people are righting us off I am more than happy. The one quote that tickled me was that we would be ok if we avoid injuries (Long and Yak the main ones). Maybe our other signings and the clear out have been missed. We are no more immune to injuries than any other team, but our squad will have been together for a good 4 months before kick off and will hopefully have gelled very well. Add to that some experience in the coaching department and some ultra professional imports blended with some very exciting youngsters and we can't help but improve (significantly at that ) on last year.
I just hope all the SL coaches have written us off as well. Though I am sure they are far more knowledgablethan most on here. Top four here we come.Back where we belong. All done with a sustainable budget as well. |

In a way I agree, but I have hope that a new assistant coach Dennis Moore help Agar this year, alos we have Long who is getting involved in coaching our attacking play.
Really hard to predict the league this year, but will have a go anyway.
