it's hard to remember every kick but I thought Williams in the first half put a few decent ones in but don't get me wrong as I said earlier, the kicking game from England as a whole was poor especially compared to what Johnson was providing for NZ. Constantly trapping us in our own 10 kicking from deep and made that try from a quality kick and was just constantly putting the ball in the right places.

| INOUT Quote: Dally "The score line does not lie. That is too many points to lose by and make excuses.'" Who cares what the scoreline was? Who lifted the the silverware at the end? We don't need excuses for winning.

| Williams was England's best player by a distance, I thought.

Poor effort can’t back up his performance from last week. Time to pick players on form like Tom Johnstone

Thought it was a nice gesture that O’Loughlin insisted Graham lift the shield given O’Loughlin’s lack of involvement.

| One thing I've learnt from this series is to never criticise an English referee again. What they were allowed to get away with at the PTB was criminal.

| Some individual poor performances today. Hill, Mcgilvary and Hodgson had shockers. Hodgson just isn't good enough IMO ran down too many blind alleys.
The amount of players we've got out probably told. Lets be honest, Myler won't play for England again unless there's another 5 injuries to our half backs. Overall its been a good series. Shame SL chairman would rather SL start 31st January and play a million dour club games than more internationals.

| I hope the person who had a medical emergency in the Revie North Stand just before kick off is ok. Some people were saying it was a heart attack but I’m not sure if this is correct. If anyone has an update on his condition please post, hopefully he’s ok.

Makinson was absolutely fine and one of England’s best players. If there’s a winger that should be dropped next year, it’s McGillvary. He’s had a very average year and doesn’t really do a lot apart from run it in. I’ve never really understood what’s so good about him. He’s had a poor series as well.

Maybe we would but none of us will ever know
This was an ideal chance to blood a couple of new players and see if they really could make their mark at top International
level but Bennett chose not to go down that route.
Did Myler play today ? he was fecking anonymous and both McGillvery and Makinson were left chasing shadows, especially McGillvery who has been bang average this series.
Mind you, with the pack that we had,, the game was lost before a ball was kicked/passed and our second 40 was as bad as we've put in in a long time.
