The same Ryan Hall who was actually selected in the last world 13?
Oh and how can anybody seriously pick anyone else apart from Slater at full back?

I agree Slater is a better FB than Tomkins. He is looking amazing this year in a much tougher comp. But in a world 13 you would want the best players. Slater would be better than the majority of wingers IMO so why not have the two form players in world rugby both in the team?

There're several excellent wingers in the world so why not play one of them on the wing and one of the best full backs of all time at full back instead (I'm talking about Slater btw)?
I noticed you also had Hock and Moi Moi in your team. Pure gold!

Hock isn't really a debate. He is currently the most devastating backrower in the world.
Moi Moi is a strange one but I wanted to pick the 4 best impact players I could think of. There are too many good props to pick one for the bench so I just went for the one who offers the most impact.

Lyon's been superb this year, if he hadn't have taken himself out of rep footy he'd be playing for nsw.

| Agreed sheldon - Lyon has been absolutely sublime for Manly this year. He doesn't have the blockbusting power/pace of an Inglis, but he's a delight to watch, absolutely terrorising defences at times.
If I were a coach I'd get a greatest hits video of Lyon and make sure any young centre in my team sat and watched it many times.

| A lot of selections are in the Eye of the beholder.
Look at Brett Morris he is not in anyone's team as a Winger yet he has the best figures of any current Winger at Test level in recent times.
11 tries from 10 games 5 v NZ, 3 v Eng, 1 v PNG and 2 V France.
Compared to Ryan Hall the BWW, 6 tries from 10 games 3 v Aus, 2 v France and 1 v NZ
Both have Test careers since 2009.
Edit, I have talked myself into including Morris, Uate is too hit and miss.

| There is no way I would play the best player in his position in the World out of place.
Slater is a Fullback and he is the best around.
You may play with second best Centres or Fullbacks on the wing as a utility.

Not sure where you heard this.
Slater has been the Storms first choice Fullback since he has been there, Inglis has filled in when he has been injured.
Inglis does not have the acceleration to play the game that Slater does as he is a far bigger build.
Slater was picked on the Wing for Qld for a few games early in his career.
