The first game Hayne reffed he seemed to call Held almost as soon as the players made contact in the tackle - he didn't allow any time for the players to go to ground or offload in the tackle - he seemed far to keen to start the ptb.

If we do get Hayne, there's only one team who this will favour and I can see why the aussies are desperate to get him - nothng at all to do with a few 'sly digs' which they did more than their fair share of.

There are very few things about our great game that embarrasses me but this is one, the only one I think... to have a 4 Nations final between England and Australia and a perfectly capable New Zealander ready to referee, what the hell is the problem? Neutral referees are accepted in every sport the world over, it’s just plain stupid not to appoint one
