A bit like the dumb booty who doesn't know that the capacity at the HJ will be increased later this year.

| Only thing i'd do is move it to a Wednesday night. All in all I think it's been a success.

RU is a truly national sport at its highest level, its a poor comparison to make. I have been in Twickers when there has been 50,000 for the annual Navy v Army game, what would RL equivilent get, perhaps a few hundred.
I salute those who went, but with the games on Sunday as well it became a bit too costly, especially those fans that are having to travel both days.

What's it getting increased to? A few hundred more than last nights attendence?
Great planning.

Agreed. Really enjoyed the game, lets hope it's over here next year (Lancashire). That way it should stop the mindless, moronic, bile spitting chavs from booing their own players.

Yes, it is great planning. Increase your ground size, then see if you can fill it. If you can, then increase it again.

| Good success IMO, and credit to the RFL's marketing team (for once!) for creating the Exiles name, image and hype.
Would like to see it given its own weekend next year, and I think it'd be a good fixture for Saints new ground to host.

You seem to be misunderstanding me, I'm not having a go at Warrington or their stadium.
What I'm saying is if you've just got 14,700 odd people to a new concept why would you play it at a 15,000 capacity staduim the next year? Especailly with Wigans stadium in the same region which holds 8-10 thousand more?

Ahhh. From your original post it seemed like you were. I agree with the Wigan idea. I'd go a little further and have it as a stand alone game one weekend (about this time of year). I would not only have it as a free SL weekend, but would also cancel Championship and National League matches, and give incentives to amateur clubs to sell tickets.
If that's a success, then it moves on to a bigger stadium, such as Elland Road. After all the doom and gloom about a really low gate this week, there's been a positive ending with a reasonable crowd and we really need to build on that now.

The NL is the Championships , and don't you go suggesting they cancel games for my club , I have no interest in a bloody made up load of bollox team of NRL cast offs wiping our wonderful SL superstars 4r5es , funny though it was

| I wouldn't expect a Luddite like you to support anything whatsoever that might have some long term benefit for RL, but plenty of others would turn out, especially if their club derived some benefit from it.

GF behave yourself.
Who gives a f..k what the England/Barbarians crowd was.
14k + is a decent crowd for it's very first game and with England losing IMO this will enhance the crowd next season.

| Saints new stadium is the place to have it next season. Chance to get an extra 3-4k on the gate and make it a full-house.... this then creates demand for the year after and also a much better atmosphere.
The first international at the new stadiums and many teams close by should see it sell-out easily...

| So if you want to cancel a full round of Super League, would you rather the season started a week earlier, say late Jan,or finished a week later, say early Nov?
There is absolutely no problem with playing the game on a fri pm and having most league games on the sun - Clubs should be utilising their squads anyway, rather than flogging the same 20 players week after week.People who claim they can't make it on a fri night, would find some other reason why they couldn't make it on a sat or sun.
