There is a fist time for everything
I, like many others wasn’t T.Lee’s biggest fan by any stretch last season. However I am assuming you haven’t seen anything from him this season, as his performances have been superb. Prior to the last round and before he was injured I believe he was topping Super League’s top tackler list, that’s how strong he has been for us in defence this season.
He will be a big loss for us based on his performances this season, especially in defence.

I've read on our board before now that he didn't do much more than putting the cones out.

To be fair though, your hooker normally is your top tackler.
I personally thought that it had been a massive oversight by th Doc to not spend some of his mullar on a top class 9, given how much he's splashed about. Lee never seems to show enough when Salford have got the ball imo.

I agree and so did many other Salford fans, last season I didn't rate Lee at all and would have been happy to see him shifted on however so far this year he has been very good.
We also recruited Liam Hood who has been interchanging with Lee and he speeds our ruck up much more. Will be interesting to see how he goes against his former club on Sunday.

Impressive again against Wigan on Monday too. Looks a real livewire at dummy-half and was only released I believe by Leeds because he dropped Ryan Bailey in training.

Salford will not finish ahead of Wire this season.

If you ever bump into the lad in the pubs of Salford make sure you buy him a pint on my behalf.

He's now become my favourite for Man of Steel, based purely on that one act.

3 weeks is a long time in Rugby League it would seem. Salford losing 3 since your post and looking like they don't have the depth of squad to contend and Wire racking up 129 points and 4 comp points out of 3 games. Salford lose to FC at the weekend and then they have Hudds and Wire.....top 4 my backside
