don't think a ref challenge would be a bad idea, if a coach had two chances in a game.

say each game a coach could challenge a maximum of 2 times, if the coach is correct go back to the incident and restart the game. If the coach gets it wrong he loses an interchange or the opposition get a penalty.

There is a hell of a lot we can learn from the NFL both on and off the field.

As simple as it sounds this is an important improvement, for fans at least. I know at Wigan the end of a close game is made even more worrying by the fact the clock goes off and you have no idea how long is left. At a guess this would affect the players too?

Been interesting if they'd had this system at a certain game at Thrum Hall back in April 1986!

I know it is an important improvement! I am just suprised that it has taken until 2010 for the stadiums clocks to be accurate!

I remember going nuts at my first game in the UK at the ref because the stadium clock had hit 0 and a try was scored after the fact... little did I know at the time.

It would make it too stop-start imo, and isn't that what the video ref will do anyway?

Plus it would only be available on Sky (for obvious reasons) which would mean it would be unfair to clubs who get less time on Sky.

There is nothing we can learn from that poor excuse for a sport. It is a borefest of mammoth borefest proportions, with continuous stop start affairs.

Yeah, disgraceful that the game will now be a lot more professional and easy to follow.
