Did you watch the Barbarians game? I did and it was gash. As union folk keep telling me, it's not all about tries.
The thread started with someone stating/hoping there would be 6,500 on. There were actually more than double that amount there tonight.

Crikey...think about all those threads next year from peeps complaining they couldn't get served in their local Walkabout as all their bar staff were at the game!!

Not a bad idea, how about instead though:

A dedicated weekend -
Ireland v Scotland
Wales v France double header at Wrexham

and

Yorkshire v Lancashire (made up of those not in the England squad but must contain primarily young players)
England v Exiles double header

Only a thought.

Good turnout, the below should achieve 20k next year if the below is done properly, then possibly think about a move to a three game series

Dunno why, when there'll be a shiny new ground with greater capacity at St. Helens.

Only a dum would suggest moving it to a staduim with a lower capacity than last nights attendence.

A bit like the dumb booty who doesn't know that the capacity at the HJ will be increased later this year.

Only thing i'd do is move it to a Wednesday night. All in all I think it's been a success.
