But the football team grew-out of the company. It was a works team. That's a bit different from just slapping a company name onto an already existing club blurring the lines between capitalist exploitation, and the sincere connections of consumers, I mean, supporters. |

| Wrexham Crusaders is a great name.
1. The club are 'welsh' (apart from the players)
2. The club are from Wrexham
The name 'Crusaders' doesnt give the club an identity. Successful clubs in SL all have the name of their geographic location as part of their club name (Wigan Warriors, Leeds Rhinos etc etc)
Everyone knows Wrexham is in Wales.
Without looking it up how many people know what town or city Rugby Union Super 14 sides come from when they have names like 'Bulls' 'Crusaders' or 'Blues'?
Wrexham Crusaders gets my vote
