Depends on if the level of performance could stay the same. We played some good rugby and Dobson got some lovely time on the ball thanks to some good work by a very strong rovers pack. |

And that's a typical small town tigger comment - you weren't so sarcastic when you won Huddersfield and Bradford were ya? And we had Wilkes, Raleigh, Mariano, James, out which left us with 2 props playing - Johnson and Amor. |

Yeah but I never made any claims you were at full strength. Hudds out about 7 out when we played them. ANd the bradford game both teams had a mixed squad. |

Wakefield were missing Wildey, James, Davey, Mariano, Wilkes, Raleigh and Morton yet we still played with 17 men as did Cas.
The game was a fair reflection of the two teams/squads, both had their 1st choice halfbacks and hookers available, both were short in the front row/pack.
As an indication of the two squads ability to cope with a SL season, Wakefield looked to be in a much stronger position.
The final scoreline of 40-20 was very flattering to Castleford who scored two scrappy late tries to make it look respectable-ish. Wakefield bombed three tries in the 1st half and also missed 4 shots at goal, all but one of Wakefields 8 tries came through passing plays while Castleford scored just one try that came through good handling.

Both teams played using thier srongest available squads, yes your front row was weak and you got battered first half, but it was only a friendly, so no worries.
