Grand final winning teams play well in high pressure games. We are yet to see whether Cas can do that.

Fifita is rapidly becoming the pantomime villain we are sadly lacking in SL. Great player.

Errors by us at key times and some harsh calls (although we benefited from some in our favour) cost us the game.

We are abysmal at fielding short kick offs, in fact I can't remember the last time we dealt with one. All it needed was Toupou to give huby a call and cas last try doesn't happen (certainly not as early as it was) and we may have held on to win

The classic, game of 2 halves. For us to comeback from 16-0 down despite Luke Gale never getting above 1/10 tonight was some effort.

We didn't deserve to win that given how poorly we respected the ball, but we did - so hey ho. We'll take the win and I'm sure Wakey fans will be spitting feathers for weeks.

No problem with the result, Wakey were the better team in the first half and Cas were the better team in the second half. Silly errors in the second half cost wakey. My issue with the officials was that he chose to speak to Shenton on three occasions in quick succession about the standard of play instead of placing Castleford on an official team warning. It's perfectly acceptable to speak to the captain the first Time, but when he had to do it again shortly afterwards he should have put them on a team warning and the next piece of foul play would have resulted in 10min in the bin. It may not have changed the overall result but it would have at least been consistent with last week when Wakefield were placed on back to back team warnings without the captain being spoken to first

The DG moment showed just how poor the ref was really. It's either got to be a clear obstruction on Fifita and Wakey penalty or you ping him for offside at the PTB and Cas have a penalty. Some might say it didn't matter because Cas hit the 1 pointer but they could've kicked for simple 2, take 60 secs off the clock and ruled out Wakey tying it with a drop goal of their own.

He'll definitely get the award, he is a persistent performer at it...

For those watching on TV (as opposed to being at the game), what was said about the Cas infringements in the first half and Shenton being called over 3 times by the ref, yet, no team warning.
Kendall seemed reluctant to take any action other than giving the occasional penalty.
Usually, its a team warning if foul play occurs after the captain has been spoken to but, not for Cas ??

Why? Do you have the attention span of a goldfish? Can you not remember that we wouldn't have even been in front late on without the same player scoring. How can you blame it all on him for giving a penalty away at the end? You really are a complete moron.

The penalties before were minor infringements IMO - if he would have sinbinned for a dubious high shot or a minor holding down it would have looked a little ridiculous. Don't think it would have been justified
