Nice one nick,the McCracken hit on Bell was a belter and the Vinnie Anderson hit on Danny Tickle when Saints played Wigan in 2006(i think) is also one of the best esp when Vinnie stood over him ridiculing the poor lad. |

That's your choice. I always think it's a little bit sad when supposed hard men have to put in cheap shots on defenceless opponents to show how hard they are. No matter who they're playing for. Sironen comes out of that 'exchange' a lot better than McDermott and laughing at Sironen for not getting up straight away (not that you did, as such, but others have) is stupid. He's lucky to have been able to walk at all after that.

| Speaking of naughty hits, Steve Matai on Billy Slater in the Anzac Test (or whatever it's called this year) is a beauty. (search for 'NRL Big Hit 2010 - Steve Matai Vs Billy Slater').
Very naughty, but again my little devil can only chuckle at a lovely and humble chap like Slater briefly visiting his ancestors.  |

I know that one, and what makes it better is that Hull KR won the game! From what I hear Q'land had been dirty barstewards all game until Broadhurst flipped - but it raised KR's game and they went on to win.
Looks almost like a comedy punch but he was ko'd big style. |

No single massive hits as such but I'd like to nominate Trevor Gillmeister as having the best tackle technique, certainly in my memory. No wonder he was nicknamed 'The Axe', he just cut people in half constantly.
