Currently there are 500 fans permitted at Trailfinders.....half that number is their current average......the current average is 257 taking the reported attendances in the RL press

It's not "my idea" that Hughes believes this....it's a fact. He is on record and in print as saying his hope was the locals in Ealing would come.....but he never spent the time or.money to invite them. London Broncos brand is toxic.....any phoenix club that rises from the ashes would be better going back to the crusaders. The only "asset the club has is the academy and if the RFL don't prop that up, you may as well pull up the drawbridge south of sheffield.....

Is the location really that bad for Broncos fans ?

Has it not dawned on anyone else that it isn't:

a/ the location, be that Charlton, Twickenham, Charlton, Brentford, Twickenham, Barnet, Ealing or Wimbledon.......
b/the stadium itself, be that a football stadium, rugby stadium or wedding venue or football club in need of urgent income to pay off its loans
c/ whatever the club calls itself, be that London Fulhamcrusaderbroncoquinbroncos RL or anything else

There is a common denominator in every failure of the club to promote itself. Unfortunately, without him there'd probably be no club at all, but without a shadow of a doubt, David Hughes reluctance to promote the club and instead expect 'curious locals' to come to a game and get 'hooked" is 100% why the club he took sole charge of in 2007 with 4k fans, a mid table SL squad playing in a rugby stadium is now a mid table (at best) 2nd tier side with 250 fans who are paying a similar rent to a soccer club now to the one they paid a rugby club 15 years ago......and before anyone bang on about his £20 or £30 million investment, he's flushed the same amount again in fan revenue and central funding....I'd laugh if it wasn't so criminal!

Bronco's have signed to play at Wimbledon for many thousands of £££££'s and now Hughes is complaining about the lack of funding from the new TV deal, and is selling his best senior players off and intending to run part-time using young academy lads. The few fans left are not in any way impressed......

London Broncos have been reliant on 1 man for far too long. I don't personally as a fan or professionally as a marketer agree with either the way the RFL/SL have cut London loose since Lenagan left, or the way in which Hughes has tried to "make his point" by financing his team and academy at the expense of his CLUB.

Now London find ourselves at deaths door.....with blame apportioned equally between the RFL/SL/Hughes....but more shocking is that it is still possible that some teams may well be culled in the next couple of months as the game prepares for 20 or 24 Franchised sides, in 2 divisions, including 2 French teams and possibly a few more from outside the M62 bus pass reach...including London!
I see no reason for London to move to Plough lane with a minibus load of fans unless they know something that we don't.......it makes no sense to go part time but throw 200k on rent.....

I told the club they'd be part time and virtually out of business inside 10 years back in 2012 when they hid behind the Quins RL being the reason for their abject failings and reverted to the broncos with a cricket club logo.
Does that make me a genuine fan or just a supporter who was sick of watching the team he followed being butchered?
