unlike us expansionists who are upset when any RL club fails, im sure there are those on the other side of the fence who are happy with this outcome.

The only people happy will be those whose club gets Crusaders' spot in SL and then only some of them, as some will want success in Wales.

For what it's worth I'm more pleased about the Championship 1 club likely in South Wales, as that is sustainable. I am upset for the Crusaders fans but can't say I feel strongly either way as it was inevitable the Crusaders would fail when they went into SL, I'm only upset we lost a good Championship side for it

I haven't seen it but heard on another forum that the Sun claimed they'd be playing 9 games at Wrexham and 4 games in Newport next season, with a semi-pro side run by the owner of Port Talbot FC.

I've also heard that this semi-pro side is likely to be based out of either Blackwood or Pontypridd and will be have a player link up agreement with the Crusaders, and the U20s and U18s will play out of South Wales.

How much of this is true I can state for definite

Noone's going to that upset at an inevitable occurence unless they happen to support the club, that doesn't mean they wanted it to fail. People are more likely to be annoyed at the atrocious decisions.

I suggest you prove your allegations that people have a secret agenda of not wanting the sport to expand, as it is a lie often repeated by trolls without any basis in the majority of cases

my first trip ever overseas was a choice between partying in the greek islands or visiting england to see the place that invented RL.

i was at oldham when the crusaders guaranteed their promotion to NL1, i was very, very happy that day.

ive seen the writing on the wall in wales this year and have been really hoping it wouldnt end up the way it has.

but im still hoping it works out.

I'm hoping it works out, but to me and most Crusaders fans (read their forum) that means a Championship club in South Wales as I don't see SL in Wrexham succeeding. Unlike in Australia a 2nd tier side in its own right is worth having

From the original reports quoting the Wrexham owner " I would like the games against W1g4n,Wire,Leeds and Saints " it sounds to me that his main concern is making a few quid from visiting away fans rather than building a long term presence in North wales

ive watched RL games in brisbabe, gold coast, newcastle, central coast, wollongong, canberra, penrith, parramatta, all across sydney, melbourne, london including at skolars, oldham, rochdale, wigan, hull, leeds, st helens and probably a few other places ive forgotten.

im guessing for you it would be most home games and a few away ones
