Nothing at all, but bear in mind these press releases show the kits what the players are playing in. Not necessarily what will be on offer to the supporters.

Pathetic debate on the Wire board ATM, complaining the players' shirts are made from the hi tech skin tight material while the replica jerseys are basic 60% polyester 40% cotton, have a button up collar and can accommodate the larger gent. Basically they're a hell of a lot more comfortable to wear, and we're ing complaining.

I have quite a few "player cut" shirt in my collection and they are the most uncomfortable things to wear. I'm not a big guy, a similar build to Jonathan Thurston, but when a 42" shirt is cutting you off at the armpits, something's wrong.

Be thankful for supporter's jerseys. You're not going to play for the team so why should you have one of their jerseys?

I'm not a fan of these ''shapes'' that Kooga put on some of their kit designs.

They're ugly IMO.

This is where the NRL jerseys are quite good. They pretty much stick to the traditional design and don't usually change them every season.

So far ISC are putting out the best kits. I've heard a rumour that they're making the England jersey. Looking forward to seeing that.

Kooga did a wonderful job on the Fartown kit last year, it was a well made, smart kit. But if this years is the same as last years, I for one will be annoyed, Caboodle is sponsoring us next year btw.

This quote is taken from an offical email sent out by Wigan Warriors (which I receive regularly after registering on their website to buy match tickets):

"The distinctive new design is a break from tradition and features shaded cherry-to-white irregular hoops. It also incorporates white flashes over the chest and hips which are designed to accentuate the shoulders and shrink the waist making the Warriors look even bigger and more fearsome than before.

The KooGa shirt, which will display the logo of new Main Sponsor Applicado-FS across the chest, will be worn with cherry red shorts and cherry red socks both with white flashes.

Commenting, Wigan Warriors Head Coach Michael Maguire said:

[i"We are really pleased with the new design as it reinforces our desire to push the boundaries in everything that we do. The kit is certainly a break from tradition but we hope that it will be a hit with our fans. The only "psychological edge" I can see it giving them is that their players will look like they've been working in an abbatoir all week.

With winning the GF last year, we had a chance to clean up with revenue from the shop, and as the marquee item in there, a classic Cherry + White design should have made record sales.

Commercially, I think it's a dreadful decision.
