Widnes have finally won one to remind themselves they can play.
Toronto have flattered to deceive in these play-offs and look to me to be getting worse, not better, with each game. I see Widnes beating them in Canada, and Leeds beating them soundly at Headingly. They then finish on 6 points but the two defeats will take their PD into negative territory.
Toulouse will lose to Salford at Salford, and given that Hull KR still need points to be safe, I think they'll go all out in France and beat Touolouse there. Toulouse finish on 4 points.
London will lose to Salford, but beat Halifax, finishing on 6 points. Depending on the scores of those games, they may finish above Toronto.
Widnes - this is my left-field prediction - will win both their remaining fixtures. I think they're too good for a declining Toronto, as above. But I also think they'll come up against a Hull KR side in their last game who are safe on 10 points after beating Toulouse in France. If that's the case, I would rpedict they'll be playing a Hull KR side even their own fans will struggle to recognise, and will claim an easy win. That would see Widnes finish on 6 points with a real chance to improve their points difference.
So we end up with 3 teams on 6 points, and the MPG teams decided on points difference. I think Widnes will be in it, and will have too much for either London or Toronto - whichever of those two teams has the highest PD.
Of course, when Toulouse and Toronto both win this weekend, I reserve the right to come back and delete this post.'"

Leigh, Fev, Salford and Widnes all rolling in cash 
I know that you want to replace these clubs (and Wakefield) with your new mercenary clubs but, where do you actually see the future of the game, when we are down to half a dozen top flight UK clubs and the rest playing in some semi professional pop n crisp league, it should be a huge draw for the rugby minded aspirational kids.
You and your ilk are doing more for killing the sport than RU have done over the last 30 years.
If you carry on down this path, you will probably find Wigan, Hull, Saints and Leeds all throwing their cap in with the Yawnion lot. |

Exactly.
I'm perfectly fine with UK clubs joining as there may be decent away fan numbers, but Toronto bring no one. Even Catalan hardly bring anyone.
Doesn't take much more than one richer backer deciding he wants to retire to see one of the "big" clubs go into freefall with no funding. Really need a solid supporter base or the game is finished. This isn't football where the big clubs can live off sponsorship and TV revenue alone. |

Toronto has an attendance of 8,281 yesterday with hardly any away fans. If clubs are relying on getting a considerable number of away fans through the gate each week they don’t deserve to be in Super League. |

8000+ fans with hardly any away support. Unbelievable.
Cracking write up in the Toronto star which is the main sports story on their web page. Something along the lines of Toronto have rattled the feathers of the flat cappers but their inclusion in SL will only benefit these “small market teams” lol.

Points difference wise, Leeds would have to lose by 32 next week to Toronto to not make the top 3. (And HKR win by 44)
Also the u19’s are playing in the u19’s GF next weekend so we won’t be throwing any kids in.
