The fact that my opinion was ridiculed.

I'm not happy to give the MoS award to a bloke who's caught on live TV abusing the official and using foul homophobic language toward the ref. The loss of control and out of context attack on a player half his size was an unedifying sight and sealed it for me.

The fact that the award is now closely associated with Steve Prescott means, IMO, that Peacock ruled himself out of contention

You don't want the MoS to go to a player who's ever abused an official? That's pretty much exempted any player who's played for longer than a couple of seasons.
I don't quite see why dissent should stop a player receiving the MoS rather than say committing a spear tackle that could endanger a players life.
As for your assertion Peacock used homophobic abuse I'd stop now before the lawyers get involved if I were you, especially considering you've clearly made it up.

If you think referring to a referee as 'bent' is meant as any reference to sexuality then your lack of comprehension about its meaning in that situation is embarrassing.

There is no video on YouTube of Peacock being homophobic/making homophobic comments. There is only you making things up, and looking ridiculous in the process.

I haven't even suggested anyone for Man of Steel yet, not even Peacock. I think he'd be in the running but no-one has really stood out well beyond the others yet.

Except when Richard Agar said the same word about the same referee they viewed it as homophobic and heavily fined and suspended him.

Agars quote was not sandwiched between two very offensive expletives and wasn't broadcast live on national television!

Richard Agar wasnt suspended, he was find 6k, 3k of which was suspended for saying that Child was "100% responsible" for a loss.

So Richard Agar served a suspension that wasnt reported by the RFL? And paid a fine the RFL said he only had to pay half of? And the RFL charged with publicly with one offence whilst secretly charging him and punishing him for another.

And up until this point everybody kept this weird situation secret just in case 3 years later they could let Jamie Peacock off with the same offence?

Clark has been outstanding and dug us out of a hole several times with his movement forward. People around him have been good but he's set the platform for them to make ground too.

No he hasn't. I have seen enough games. Huby, Lynch, Millington lay the platform, that Clark being the excellent player he is, feeds off. Not the other way round.

He wasnt charged with making a homophobic insult, he was charged with the offence he was punished for which was nothing to do with a homophobic insult.

So what we are apparently supposed to believe is that Richard Agar said, in an interview, James Child's performance was 100% the reason Hull lost, that his performance was "just disgraceful" and "completely ruining the game as a spectacle", but he also in the same interview said that Child was 'bent'. The RFL then secretly investigated him for for calling him 'bent', secretly punished him for it, whilst publicly investigating him for saying Childs performance was 100% the reason Hull lost, that his performance was "just disgraceful" and "completely ruining the game as a spectacle" and publicly punishing him for it, his punishment being in line with those levied against coaches for similar outbursts. But nobody at any stage reported the Agar calling Child 'Bent', nobody reported the RFL investigating it, nobody reported the RFL charging him for it, and nobody reported him being punished for it.
