Well done Tom for seeing the incident and allowing advantage.
Game does not stop till the ball is dead, learn the rules mr powell.
Doubt he will keep his mouth shut, looking forward to seeing him banned from touch line'"
I agree, its play on! The yellow was soft, but that was a result of it being the 3rd in less than 10 minutes. Same as when its a team warning, the softest of penalties will be the one that gets the yellow

I thought the yellow was the right decision. As you said it was the 3rd one in less than 10 mins, he got binned for the repeat offences rather than that particular incident.
TBH I think the ref is having a pretty good game.

| I missed the first half. Is the penalty count really 10-0 against Cas?

| Why should it be an 8 point try, it wasnt his knees it wasnt a foot he actually fell over him..
You could ask why millington was not yellow carded for his "tackle" as 3rd man on connor!

He has plenty of time to either attempt a legitimate tackle with his upper body or pull out altogether. He does neither and just piles into him with his knees/legs. Should have been an 8 point try. Agree regarding Millington.

| Do I agree with Powell’s criticisms of officials? Absolutely. The facts speak for themselves - offences committed against Cas have incurred bans totalling 19 games since the lockdown. Every time, the on-field officials and off-field officials have decided that these offences haven’t warranted red cards.
But should Powell have said it? Probably not. I think he’s given the players an easy excuse for poor discipline. Last night, I thought the players had a sense of ‘victim mentality’ and rather than blame themselves for obvious penalties, decided that it was the referee’s fault. Not helped by the fact they can hear Powell complaining about every penalty, rather than holding the players responsible for their indiscipline.
Do I think it’s time for Powell to move on? Absolutely not. I remember what it was like before he transformed the club into one cup finalists and grand finalists, and regularly finishing in the play-offs. We haven’t won one, but at least we’ve given ourselves a chance, even on a budget that can’t accommodate marquee players. I’m happy to write this season off given the circumstances, and am still optimistic for 2021.
