| Saw a London Broncos one on the M5 this week, about 10 miles west of Bristol. Drove about 7 hours that day and saw eight Stobarts, but only one Super League badged one.
Thing that struck me was how hard it was to read the signage, and saw no mention of rugby league in the short time it took us to overtake the thing. Not even sure who the player was!

41106.jpg You come at the king - You better not miss.
It ain't what you takin', it's who you takin' from, ya feel me? How you expect to run with the wolves come night when you spend all day sparring with the puppies?:41106.jpg |

Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket - I've seen two on the M5 outside Bristol in about a week (and I was out of the country most of the week). One Rhinos and the other was Saints (I think - it was very foggy today and it was on the other side).
In the same time I've seen 3 non SL stobarts but 2 were "Stobart biomass" which I think is probably a different subsidiary.
Hopefully when Stobart get their crappy TV programme back the SL trucks will get some screentime

| So the grand people of West Yorkshire aren't seeing them but plenty down south are... that's a good thing right?
Even if seeing the Widnes truck saying 'support your local team' in Shepard's bush is a bit odd

| I think Stobarts have got a crecking deal out of this.
If they have 100 vehicles with printed "curtains" which will be around £800 per lorry, roughly £80k spend (and the vehicles would need "curtains" anyway), they have some very cheap advertising from our sport.
Ok, the game gets a level of exposure, but I'm not sure where the value of £2 million quid comes from.

Presumably the amount Stobart would charge to use the same number of vehicles for some advertiser to use.
As you said a very good deal for Stobart.

Maybe so, but they are getting plenty of advertising themselves and although Stobart is already a well known brand, I think they may be smiling in Stobart HQ.

| My understanding is there are only around 100 of these lorries, which is only a small percentage of the Stobart fleet.
The chances of seeing one are seemingly slim.
I have no idea why the RFL decided to go for this option, Stobart must be laughing at the amount of free advertising they are getting on TV, for the sake of painting a few of their lorries.
No mention of Superleague on the Stobart Group home page. There may be a Superleague logo somewhere on this site, but frankly I can't be d to sift through the whole thing to find it.
How long is this deal for? The way I see it, the RFL are getting right royally shafted.

We're coming to make some noise!: |
|
| Shocking to see Stobart Group on Twitter advertising it's TV show instead of the free advertising it is getting by the "sponsorship" of the SL. There must have been a shortage of brown envelopes around the Widnes area a few months ago!!!

| I use the M62 regularly. Seen loads of Stobart trucks, but still not seen a RL one.
