| Well, via the miracle of SKY+ I have finally seen this tackle – I take it you were talking about the Bulldogs game?
The tackle was pretty good but not the best ever... for a start, it wasn’t the winger going into the corner, it was the loose forward (Stagg). Stagg had actually grounded the ball but it was short and Hayne rolled him over before he could ground it again. Good play but I wouldn’t say it was as good as the other tackle we were discussing!!
What really wound me up about this game though was the commentators creaming themselves over Jarrod Hayne and “one of the best individual performers you will see”. He played well and scored a belting first try, backed up well for the second and threw a pretty good pass for the third (defensive winger was at fault though as they had numbered up)
Three incidents spring to mind though
Firstly, Hayne runs 40 meters across the field across the defensive line and then throws the ball directly into touch... if an English player had done that the commentators would have crucified him but they call Hayne ‘unplayable’
Second, Hayne gets beat in the air from a bomb and the Bulldogs score – no fault of Haynes of course
And the best... Hayne knocks on from a bomb and the Bulldogs score on the next tackle. Any fault of Hayne’s? Of course not, he is a hero for nearly stopping the grounding
OK... I admit, I would love Hayne to be English and he would walk into the England team but the levels of adulation in this game were unbelievable

think it was the grand finals then and only played in the 1997 in the 90's v leeds

| Two or three years ago Huddersfield v Bradford at the Galpharm. Halley breaks through the line and runs for the line. In the action of diving over the line Stephen Wild, who had tracked back, comes in with a man and ball tackle knocking the ball out of his hands....Perfect.

I have heard from a highly reputable source that Jarryd Hayne will be a Crusaders player by 2012.
Brian Noble is sitting down with Haynes people negotiating a deal as we speak.
My same source told me it will be a cash plus player swap with Gareth Thomas heading to Parra. The stumbling block is how much cash the Eels will want to pay the Crusaders. Early reports suggest $1million but I think thats a bit much.

Dally Messenger is playing Gareths boyfriends 'stunt double' for all the erotic scenes in the movie so its likely eelsfan will be attending too seeing as the pair of them get on so well on the NRL forum

I banned people from this sit when the NRL forum was getting out of site. I'm quite happy to add to those bans if people start randomly importing those crap personal rown onto the VT.

| Haynes best "tackle" by far, was when he butted Billy the Mouth.
