Players come and go at all clubs marsdengiant.

Sometimes you just need to leave it to the people who know what they're doing and back their judgement. The only dissapointing one there for me is Jay Pitts, a lad with great potential to go a long way in the game. Not much you can do though if he wants to play for the current Champions and team he supported in his youth.

One thing is for sure, we've played the best two teams in Super Legue (by a distance) in the last two games and lost one in the dying seconds and won the other, so no signs there of the things you point out having any affect on the current squad.

I simply stated that tonights result had no bearing on the giants fans post (cant remember who it was) and didn't exactly counter his points.
I also made reference to the fact that Saints SHOULD have won, tbf Wellens did miss 6 kicks, as is obvious.

I was commenting that tonights victory didn't really back up or dismiss the Giant fellas post, one result doesn't mean anything in relation to the thread.
After the full time hooter a couple of wildcat fans came on here as if to suggest beating saints somehow meant there was no issues on the subject.

I don't understand the reason for letting the yound lad go last week, I heard he had a bright future, was he a social problem?
All smaller clubs playing in hundred year old stadia have financial issues, some more than others.
How are plans progressing on the new ground? Not heard much in a few months.

Jay Pitts - Signed for Leeds, the team who he supported as a young lad

Rooney - Not good enough for SL any more and not first choice so the move makes sense.

Bibb - Fell down the pecking line, at times he is very lazy. Loaned him out as KR asked about his services... He may well end up staying there. Just aslong as we don't keep him. Don't rate him one bit.

Now I would be worried if we was getting rid of our first choice players

Don't think we have weakened the squad myself. Sculthorpe was shipped out for other reasons and in Korki we have a more reliable performer, so far anyway. Rooney has not been on his game for a long while and the fact that a centre was preferred to him at stand off tellsyou all you need to know about that. As for Pitts we made him an offer he turned it down and wanted to play for the team he supported as a kid.

Those who know a bit about the stadium seem confident that things are moving along well and there are positive noises about players coming in next season.

Pitts' contract was up at the end of the season and he wasn't going to play again now we have no injuries. So we have made some cash by letting him go early. Good deal

Bibb won't play again this season. KR need an extra prop, we have one who is playing reserves and needs first team games to kick on. No loss

Rooney is behind Obst, Martin, Grix, Drew, Latu and JD at stand off! Think that says it all. Many may even say that Southernwood is a better option. Only fair to the lad to left him try and secure his future after the commitment he has shown Wakey in the past.

Sculthorpe is still being paid whilst playing at Hudds which as we know is 80k. Doesn't suggest to me the club is skint if we still paying his wage.

Incoming Shane Tronc, Terry Newton and Brad Drew was offered a very impressive contract. Again if we were skint we wouldn't be able to afford these players. The academy is top of the league and Kear intend to sign up the majority of the players for net season with a fair few given their shot at first team. Alot of positive news surrounding the stadium coupled with the community work plus a side which is in 5th!

Trinity just get stronger and stronger as a club

You need that stadium though otherwise it will all come tumbling down.
tbf an awful lot of talent seems to be coming through that area at the moment, both through you and Cas, it's a shame the stadium issue could up end one of you
