Are you referring to the kids from junior clubs?

If so,my little one played.There were 8 junior teams ,with an average of 10 players per team = 80 kids,if you want to take an average that each kid had a sibling,then add another 80,approx 160 kids.
Not even sure they counted,as when we entered the ground,the kids and parents were guided around the turnstiles and not through them.


Although i will agree and have said it before,our crowds are appalling and a major concern.Not convinced that the public of Wakefield are bothered whether they have a team playing in the premier league of a sport carrying the cities name or not.

I would not want to speak for the people of Hudds. I am sure they have got more important things to do than talk about somebody who sole ambition in life is to try and upset people because she does not have a life of her own. Worrying though nevertheless. And yes the misquoting technique is very popular with some people, you in particular you seem to have it off to a fine art. I suppose that goes with having no friends and a lot of time on your hands.

It shows very good initiative on the part of the Hudds club to let kids in for free. Highly commendable they are the future of the club. It would be nice if our club were in a position to do the same unfortunately as you have told us at every opportunity we are not in such a position to do so. Once again if you hear anything about our club dont hesitate to imform us.

I am referring to the most recent accounts that are available,up to 11/07.

However those are the accounts that show the current net worth,they are the accounts that show you lost money in the season you appeared in the CC Final.
When the accounts are superseded by new ones,i will be happy to check if they have improved and turned in a profit and reduced the negative net worth of 4m.

They show a net reduction in current liabilities of £400,000 due to an increase in assets of around £550,000. This would suggest therefore an increase in revenue for the financial year.

No idea what's true and what isn't but best of luck to them (and any other RL club) who might be having a tough time.

I could never take joy in seeing a club go through financial hardship and suffering the possible consequences that goes with it, sadly a fair few give the impression they would like nothing better.

I wouldn't believe what the club say anymore than I believe the posters on here.

However if true then a shocking attendance.

It says: "Their attendance contributed to one of Wakefield’s healthiest home crowds of the season". The official attendance was one of the worst home crowds of the season, however if you add 1000 to it you get one of the healthiest home crowds of the season. This supports the suggestion that they weren't included in the official attendance.

Well if you are reading the 07 ones online from companies house.

your current liabilities increased by 215k,they didnt reduce.

Your total assets went up by £615k --- but your lending went up by over 1m.

Which ever way you look at it - the accounts show a loss of 600k that year.

I am glad that the club made it clear that players were not being 'moved' on during the season.

Not sure what the people of Wakefield want. They have a decent team and a decent coach. why aren't they getting out and supporting them?
