| Quote: Dreamer "There is no doubt that Morley caught him a beauty, but the bigger question for me is; would the english ref have sent him off if he had been Australian? Even more interesting; would and Australian ref have sent an Australian off?
I'm not fishing - its a genuine concern.'"
Its all hypothetical because unlike Adrian 'High shot' Moreley Aussie players know how to play the game and can usually keep their shots below head height.
Sadly poor old Adrian never quite grasped the concept and ultimately paid the price when the Chooks sent him back to England as he spent too much time suspended or injured because of his poor techniques

In Australia anything below the temple is not considered a high tackle

I assume that good looking lad Danny Brough played his entire career in Australia then??
His forehead resembles the front end of an Intercity 125 train

| All things aside though, it was actually a bloody good hit that Morley put in, but it cost us.

Well.. except it wasn't good.
It got him sent off.
If it had been a good shot it would have been legal. But then thats ultimately what cost him his NRL career.
The thing that made it for me was seeing poor Adrian sooking his eyes out in the dressing room afterwards
Real hard man he was eh??

Just ask all the Aussies he's owned, I'm sure they'll confide in a fellow countryman like you
The original point was that an aussie ref would not have sent off an aussie player in the same circumstances. "

I'll be diplomatic and say that they allow their inbred national pride and desire to win colour their judgement

In that case I'll also be diplomatic and say that even if an Aussie ref had sent off one of our second rowers in the 2008 RLWC match at Melbourne we would probably still have won by 52 -4

| Don't know about sending offs, but this must be one of the fastest tries ever.
rlSwinton demonstrate wonderful ball fielding abilities and concede after 8.8 seconds against Rochdale a week or two ago.rl
If that's not permitted, search for "Fastest Rugby Try Danny Samuel" on the usual site.

| The convict was nearly on he's knees when Mozza cracked him, Ganson i think it was had an ideal oppertunity again to make a name for himself and send him of for a perfectly good tackle !
