and straight back down. On what basis do so many people think Toulouse could survive SL let alone contribute to it? Could you enlighten me?

What the fudge to pit village Leigh offer other than reinforced stereotypes of the northern game for northern villages. As for player development and Tv deal what players are spewing through the Leigh ranks, and I cant see Amazon and Netflix queuing up to offer huge cash for a tv deal now Leigh are back in the big time.

I wish them the best of luck. Take this opportunity and don't look back. Would be good to see a championship team go up and build and build and not come straight back down. I'm sure there will be an additional couple of quality signings but the only thing which worries me is that they've already started building heavily for next season. It just doesn't look like a squad that can avoid bottom 2 but more than happy to eat my words next season if they become competitive. Taken from the Leigh rlfans

Maybe, maybe not. I reckon they'll be good enough to stay up and hope they do. Beaumont would be daft to spend this much only to not go the extra mile to ensure they keep their place, especially if franchising is about to rear its head again

The only real choice in this was Leigh. I do think if the SL sides had a say, Leigh wouldn’t be there as they have the potential to send one of the 11 down next season. Hopefully they do. Good luck Leigh. Although I will miss our games against each other next season.

Congratulations to Leigh, but have to say the total lack of ambition by ignoring Toulouse is plain daft. I would go to Toulouse away, I will not be visiting Leigh, I would have gone to York, but I wouldn't have gone to Bradford or Featherstone. But they will be there battling with KR for bottom spot next season, at least Salford can be relieved and maybe Donnyman can stop starting threads about anti expansion theories and quotes from Martyn Sadler?
