You can't start the season when the warmer months are arriving and still expect the season to end in early October.

Moving the season back may seem sensible.
However, do we really want the GF and Internationals played in November / December instead of October / November..
The first move should be to have our season running in absolute tandem with the NRL and move either one forward or back to balance them out, with a mid season international break and other Internationals at the end of the season.

Just because we've had storms during one weekend at the start of the season shouldn't man that we go into panic mode.

Also, if there was an international break, it could be the ideal chance to also catch up on any postponed fixtures, assuming, of course, that there weren't loads of them.

With global warming and the wild variations in weather patterns the likelihood is that games can be called off at any time. Whether they are in February or November .

If the planet is warming up, it will soon be summer rugby all year round, although it may be too warm in summer so, perhaps we should move back to winter rugby
