Commentary was excellent, and I'll forego the HD of BBC in favour of Premier from now on. Was very nice to listen to actual commentary and not the shambling sensationalism of Sky and the bumbling atrocity of BBC.

"Bumbling atrocity" is an accurate reference to Ray "was that Thurston or Slater?" French and Jonathan "he's ball watching" Davies, but not to Dave Woods.

Yeah, I quite like Dave Woods. But he can't save a sinking commentary ship.

Watching Premier's coverage is a breath of fresh air. Knowledgeable, interesting, and I don't find myself cringing every five minutes. Sky need to get Voss signed-up.

Noble added to that too. They make a good double act.

That does show however it is not always the person but the rules they have to play by.
If Voss and Noble were signed up by BBC they wouldn't be able to do that. It's quite restrictive on there.

For Sky to change Eddie would be quite a big thing but I think I'd get him involved if I were them.

He generates excitement just by being excited about the game himself.

Used to love hearing vossy and Gus Gould on a morning was really fun listning to them because of thier enthusiasm and knowlage .

I thought he was really annoying. Shouting way too much and when he got excited I couldn't understand what he was saying.

Admittedly though, it was better than Sky Sports 'Commentary' - which is basically four blokes having a chat about RL and not really watching the game.

To be fair, I wouldn't start off by calling him a bully and a scumbag. I'd just start off by calling him a f****** p****.
