The thread is about sl academies. Ie. Wakefield (specifically Wakefield not half a dozen other clubs) academy ( not service area dumb) produced players.
Clearly reading as well as not being an easily triggered loser are not your strong points. I’m guessing it’s not talking to girls too.

Ranking academies is easy - just look at the table...but what do you want to measure? League position, number of players advancing to your first team, number of players supplied to the pro game?

Bateman is from Bradford you idiot.
None of them are from your service area either.

They didn't come from the Bradford Service Area either though, did they!
Next season, just like this, Wakey will have Jowitt, Johnstone, Wood, Batchelor as front line SL players from the academy + several others who are currently in the first team squad, but considered fringe players.
It was one of our products who scored the winner against you for York a few weeks back. Which I enjoyed...

Jake Trueman I think off the top of my head, but I reckon they're are more London born players in SL than Bradford.
Anyhow I think Wigan and Hull FC must be about equal on players that came from the Academy and were born there (if that's how we're judging it).

Well done you’ve managed to equal the number of academy products from a league one side playing in the NRL in your own first team.

Hilarious you are pure comedy gold.
Take a look at your current team - even in division 2 you are totally unable to put out a home grown team which is frankly pathetic for the biggest club in the division. The majority of your squad are mercenaries and JK will tell you that. People on glass houses old love.
Also when did you last win the Academy comp, I know when we did x x x

Langley and Smith are from Wakefield (Normanton).
Please give me a list of Bradford born players who are in SL?

Do you make it up as you go along - neither of those players are at Bradford anymore that’s the point!!
I can give you a massive list of Trinity products who made it big elsewhere. Ellis and old west at Warrington probably two of the finest players SL has yet produced - so your point is?

Our academy side has been hamstrung as most of the best players at the club of that age group have had to play in the first team.
Which is why the average age of our first team squad this year is 23.
16 of the 18 players used under that age. JK will tell you that.
What really makes it great at Bradford at the moment is that a large chunk of those players have come through the club from skolar level.
Still facts don’t come into it when you’re a triggered Wakefield fan.

| No, the comment was about the history of clubs like Bulls propping up the rosters by poaching players from out of area - the Langley reference is valid.
I don't know who Bentley is??
So what you are saying is, Bulls have produced TWO current SL players? Really!

No we both know that’s not true but I aren’t wasting my time going through each superleague squad to pick out the bulls academy products.
I forgot Craig Kopczak too he’s another bradford born bulls academy trained superleague player.

For anyone who cares this is the original post.
I'd go
Wigan/Hull
Leeds
Saints
Castleford
Widnes
Wakefield
Warrington/Huddersfield
Catalans
Hull KR
Salford
Off the top of my head.

Just answer - how many amateur clubs in Bradford? I'd like to know - I genuinely have no idea.

The only one wasting your time is you trying to one up everyone.
It makes five (Bradford born) but you’re as bad at counting as you are reading.
Btw the only ones changing the parameters are you lot talking about service areas, then where players were born.

So, if you are counting this as "players in your first team, that came from your academy" (which is a good question)...Wakefield have 6 (Jowitt, Johnstone, Wood, Batchelor, Crowther, Anakin), with 4 (Hooley, Wray, Kershaw and Ackroyd), in the first team squad, but yet to break through.
