I saw that as well, horrible, I am sure nothing will come of it, Leeds cant have 2 players banned in a week surely? Also like how the Sky team really did not say a thing about it to make sure that it didnt have attention drawn to it!

it was mentioned that there was another forward pass (by ableet iirc) in the build up to another one of there tries.

paul mcshane showed himself up as a little last night, getting up and shoving players after scoring then giving elima that dig with the forearm.

He's obviously filling in for a player i've never heard of and i'm not feared of who may or may not be suspended this week.

It was terrible wasn't it. Leeds should be banned from SL then there would never be a forward pass to worry about ever again in the top flight of RL

its nice to see after a troubled start to the season that leeds have knuckled down, and worked hard to get the forward pass working for them again.

it was upsetting the other weeks watching them actually get pulled up for them.

And you can throw it towards your own posts but it will still travel toward the opponents' posts, relative to the ground, because of the momentum imparted to it by your own forward movement. But it's a legal backward pass. That's not 'clever' - its basic common sense.

I agree on the rule. Not going to use Stevo's 'momentum' explanation, they have a better idea of it in Australia. However, Webb's pass was forward. Before he tipped the ball on, he had stopped dead. Hence being forward. So Leeds get away with one, which probably won them the game in the end. Wakeytom, I think every side are getting away with it, so put your dummy back in.

Every team gets away with forward passes.

But on a serious note, Where's the incentive for the players not to try dubious passes when the linesmen are so clearly incompetant and unwilling to call anything week in week out... ?
