by the standards set by the media, absolutely.
souths needs to make top 4. thats pretty much the test

| @ Dally
I have watched all Souffs games this season and Burgess, with Tayloy, have been thier only 2 decent forwards before yesterday. In fact that was the tactics used. Give it to Sam and see what happens. He has been pushing 30 tackles a game and is making 120m + a game. The kids not superman. He's never going to score 2 tries a game every week. He will put on the occasional big hit though and make metres for fun. Seriously, watch him. He never gets dominated in tge tackle. He always finds his front and the majority of the time is stood looking for tge offload with 2 people hanging off him.

[quote="The Reason":3e09qe5x]Hi Andy
The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

| Unfortunately Aussies will always bag 'pomes'(that's the first time aussies will know how it's spelt) but if you talk to supporters of the players club you find out the truth.

Purlease. Up until this week "being Souffs best forward" has meant SFA. However, well done this week.

Aiden Tolman.
And frankly I wouldn't swap Tolman for Burgess and a new Porche.

rubbish, morley earned his praise here
ellis was good last year and so far has been average
you are aware the tigers defence is terrible? ellis is one of the worst suspects
the tigers have zero defence, thats the forwards fault

NRL expansion? Sometime soon, maybe......:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_9857.jpg |

| really? You'd have Tolman over Burgess? I'm a Storm fan and I'd swap them any day of the week. Come on Rusty you know it makes sense, well to dawn patrol anyway!
Tolman is a great young prop in the making, plenty of metres made and tackles where as Burgess is a great attacking 2nd row, featuring in offloads, try scorers and breaks top 20 stat lists.

Burgess has shown nothing so far except that he is a very good player in a pretty average team. To quote Monty Python's George Bernard Shaw; "He stands out like a shaft of gold when all around is ****".
Tolman, on the other hand, stands out in the best team in the world. Big difference.

| phil lowe, mal reilly, ellery hanley, Kevin Ward. Plenty of great British forwards he has to get in front of but he has time and talent. Lang is a good forwards coach to learn from so hopefully he will become very special over the next few years.
