This person makes you all looks like fools . Just ignore the person This person obviously has personal issues . For a person to spend so much time trying to antagonise people is a tad concerning .

Many time this person drops his persona for example Terence becomes Terry etc ..

Just ignore the person , who will soon get a wake up call and maybe address their issues .

Sad to see Eddie go. Not easy live commentary and I think he brought real excitement to the game. Impossible to please the RL fan base who love to moan about anything and everything.

Eddie was great for the best part of twenty years.

In the last five years or so he’s been the voice that we’ve just all heard too much of. The same stuff too much gets tired.

It’s been better recently that he’s not the presenter and commentator for most games. Him just being on commentary has worked. But he’s still coming to his end and I think it’s the right time he went.

I can't lie, I've been calling for him to be sidelined for a number of years. It may be the format that's at fault, as the mouthpiece of Šky RL these last couple of decades his 'opinions' have got up my nose for a number of years.

John Motson has been commentating all my life & I was genuinely upset & fełt it was the end of an era when he hung the mike up!

Bill Arthur isn't good enough to cover most games, he's fine in small doses.

The obvious solution I would have thought is that they will go out and get Dave Woods or a commentator from another sport. Someone like Rob Hawthorne?

I hope this sudden descion isn't health related, we know both Eddie and Bill Arthur have had issues in recent years.
I would like to see George Riley return to national media, he commentated on one of Our League's streams recently.

Paul Cooke . He’s very articulate, obviously has vast knowledge of the game . Sky need people like Paul Cooke to to reenergise the programme .

He's not been everyone's cuppa tea but you can't knock Eddie for the years he's given and at times he's called games brilliantly and added the excitement. Perhaps he should have gone when Stevo went but it is what it is. Hope he has a happy retirement!
