A bit of an advantage, bet whoever plays either the week after are happy

I see a lot of fans are bothered by this but I don't think any players or coaches are bothered.. even those who will the disadvantage the week after.
Advantages/ disadvantages happen all the time.

Teams play weakened sides before big games.
Teams have to travel to France before big games.
On occasions an extra 2 day gap have occurred.

If the RFL want these short turn arounds then they get it.
If our club owners come together and try and put a stop to it they'll probably get somewhere.

I know you think because I'm a Giants fan I'm just defending it, but it really is no big deal.

Daryl Powell has stated in an interview on radio Yorkshire that he's not happy about it, so I think your theory that coaches aren't bothered is a little out

Yes but Powell often has to moan about something doesn't he. Though it's downright stupid the RFL allowed this just so spare Huddersfields blushes.

I'm sure some teams have played catch up fixtures on the weekend of the CC final before now.

I seem to recall Wigan doing it, so nothing new.

Its absolutely something new. This isnt a catch up fixture.
