Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10174.png |

I'm sure plenty of posters will attempt to contrive an argument that proves this statement wrong, but Clarkey is absolutely right.

| There's no other club in the SL that could have 10 first team regulars missing and still win away from home, our youth development is lightyears ahead of everyone else's.

| Leeds will be the ones who can compete, and it depends on the guidelines - is not amateur, or is it academy? Just off the top of my head and from Leeds area, there are plenty...
Sonny Nickle
James Lowes
Karl Pratt
Gareth Carvell
Richie Mathers
Mark Calderwood
Chev Walker
Danny McGuire
Ryan Bailey
Nick Scruton
JJB
Jamie Peacock
Michael Mcillorum
Ryan Hal
Bjb
Carl Abblett
Stevie Ward
Ryan Atkins
Chris Clarkson
Lee Smith
I'm sure there are plenty more, and that's without even starting to name those who played academy but aren't officially from Leeds (Burrow, Sinfield, Diskin, Ward, Watkins etc).... Maybe Clarke was right, or maybe he was talking utter nonsense!

Right and?
He was born in Milton Keynes and lived in Chorley before moving to Wigan.
The extent of his coaching is ''BASH EM, JUST F*CKING BASH EM. HE'S LOW ON CONFIDENCE, BASH HIM''
He's a limited coach that won't last long term.[/quote:8f22o6ue]
....
That would make Wigan strong favourites then. With Ratchford at FB and Patton with Cronk in the halves, I think we'll do very well without Sam.[/quote:8f22o6ue]: |

Really struggling to see the point in this post! Woud go as far as to say its the most pointless post on this forum in a while!
What is the point you are trying to make? That Warrington are the reason that tomkins is the player he is? That tomkins is'nt really a Wigan player?

Okay, where in that quote does it say he played for Crossfields. He was born in MK. His parents were Warrington fans. Moved to Chorley when he was young. Play for the panthers. Moved to Wigan at [I believe] u12 and played for Pats from then until he was signed by Wigan.
FWIW the amount of Wigan trained players currently plying their trade in SL is unmatched by any team.

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg |

| The funniest thing about threads thrown up after last nights team selection is that we have had very little other than praise from Widnes. It's the bitter twisted fans from other clubs who have been chucking vitriol.. Really funny, made my day
