The American National Rugby League is finalizing details for a tour of France in 2012.
Dates and venues for the tour are still being finalized, but it's expected that the USA's national team will play at least one warm-up game and then the Test in October.

The Cook Islands are likely to tour England, Wales and possibly one other country late next year as part of preparations for the 2013 World Cup.

It has been confirmed that the USA will host Ireland in the Donnybrook Cup test match on March 17. The game, to be played in Philadelphia, will mark the St Patrick’s Day weekend.

It's looking like Canada will be plaing Russia at some point this year. Don't have the details yet.

I can confirm that Canada will be playing the RAF on Sunday 17th June at Fletchers Fields in Markham, Ontario.

So England will play the Exiles twice this summer (according to Sky Sports anyway). Who will be asked to coach the Exiles? One game in Yorkshire and one in Lancashire? I'd go for Headingley and Saints new ground.

With Lebanon? I guess it's good news if they are involved in some sort of tournament, although obviously not for the Canadians. A bit of a blow considering Russia also pulled out of their fixture.

As I understand it the conflict was with Canada. They had two opportunities and could only take one of them. I do know all of the upcoming Canada fixtures for 2012 but unfortunately can't share them with you guys yet - sorry! I will post them on here as soon as I get the green light.

Malta are set to have a 2 game series against Denmark, the first being in Malta on 9th June 2012 and the game in denmark sometime in September/October.
The Maltese Exiles are also due to play Leeds Akkies on the 5th May 2012.

Feeling a bit deflated at the moment with the announcement that Toronto FC will play Liverpool the same day that Canada play their first game in Toronto (vs Jamaica). The fixtures had been specifically set up so that they didn't clash with any other major events. Now it will be so much harder to entice curious sports fans to our game or to get any publicity for it. The footy match is already getting ridiculous amounts of publicity. I also expect the ticket prices will be very reasonable.

We were hoping to get a decent crowd to our game. Looks unlikely now.

I think it's too late to change the date now - stadium's booked, 'season tickets' for the games have been printed etc. Friday nights are less appealing because there's the rush after work. Peopl have habit of showing up late for night games on a work day - which is fine when the game lasts 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Not so good for an 80 minute game.
