| Quote: UllFC "got to agree, nobody apart from HullKR has ever taken over 4,000 to the KC, and Hull is just about as far away from most SL clubs as Wrexham is.
the only teams who have ever brought 3,000 to Hull are Wigan a few times, and Bradford, Wakefield and Warrington did on 1 occasion each.'"
No one brought anything like that to cas last year either and we are in an rl heartland.

| Not sure how relevant this is, but it seems that the Wrexham ANZACS are not even the same team legally.
A bloke on the SW Scorps website has found that Celtic Crusaders Limited is being / has been wound up and a new company formed with the name Wrexham Crusaders Limited and a new company number.
So it seems that the only thing the Wrexham Crusaders (THEIR name, not my dig) have in common with the late lamented (by me) CELTIC Crusaders is half a dozen players, half a dozen supporters and Mike fakking Turner.
As such it seems odd to me that the WC were given the franchise previously awarded to the CC, without even having to apply.

Out of interest will that affect the creditors of Celtic Crusaders ltd?

| One would think so. Looks like THIS is how Moss managed to "take on" (IE abandon) the debts of Samuel's CELTIC Crusaders

Surely not even the RFL would be hard faced enough to pull off a stunt like that.
Would they?

| Must say I'm amused by this article on Crusaders website - rlhttps://www.crusadersrfl.com/article.php?id
They seem to be asking fans to travel up from South Wales just to clear snow of the pitch for the football team?

Would they?'" This is common practice for clubs when the ownership is changed.

Is it?
My understanding is that companies keep their registered numbers even when majority shareholdings change. As in the following examples...
CASTLEFORD RUGBY LEAGUE FOOTBALL CLUB LIMITED
Registered No.00214373
Incorporation Date: 15-06-1926
WIGAN RUGBY LEAGUE CLUB LIMITED
Registered No.00174692
Incorporation Date: 12-05-1921
WARRINGTON FOOTBALL CLUB LIMITED
Registered No.00370871
Incorporation Date: 25-11-1941
ST HELENS RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB LIMITED
Registered No.00331905
Incorporation Date: 24-09-1937

Nope , a change of company is an administration , pure and simple unless all debts are paid beforehand

I take it that the folk of South Wales, even those supporting Scorpions, are now officially "flatcappers holding back the game" whereas they had previous been "a breath of fresh air, just what the game needs".
Nice to know.
