Oh, and your amazing wordplay to make "CashCow" out of "Koukash" has me in stitches every time! Brilliant!
Don't worry about us Glitter, we'll be fine.'"

I am not worried about you pal...just happy to point out the exact logistics of what some of your, sahall we say, more eager fans think will happen with the good Dr's money.

By the way, have I told you about the 10,000 break even figure and the associated revenues that will flow in once you get 130,000 people paying 15 notes on a ticket and another 15 on residuals?...... icon_cool.gif .......he won't have to spend between 3 and 5 million out of his back pocket.

To put it another way, what came first, the Chicken(silverware) or the egg(decent average support)?

Oh the irony. This thread now has 3 times the number of viewers that actually attended the game.

Salford will always struggle for supporters. The spherical ball game is too strong in the area.

That doesn't mean they shouldn't at least try but there has to come a point when small crowds become an embarressment to the top flight of our great game. Oh hang on, London anyone?

Three words to everyone who's posted on this thread . . . smoke some weed. chillpill.gif

Fans of other vulnerable clubs or those miffed at their team not being in Superleague attack Salford and their attendances and Salford fans defending their club. How predictable icon_biggrin.gif

Woah, where have these Hull KR fans suddenly grown a pair from? Fans of a club with an embarrassing ground, embarrassing finances and an embarrassing amount of overseas players in their squad are not ones who should be taking the mick out of another club.

I support a team with no finances, no fans, no ground and a history of employing a major number of imports.....I still say Salfords new owner will need to drop between 25 and 35 million of his own cash to even get close to the top 4or 5 teams in SL.

I notice that whilst all this love is flying around on here, most Salford fans would rather call other posters "haters" rather than accept or address the facts of the matter...which are that they got a lower crowd than London at the weekend, they have an owner who mistakenly believes signing a star player will get him 10,000 regulars and that they have 1 year (until about this time next year) to turn around their fortunes......if they wait until 2014 before addressing the decline in fans, then they may well be in for a shock when the 2015+ licences are announced.

If the RFL double the salary cap, does the good Dr believe signing Morely and billy slater will fill the stadium d040.gif

You have no idea what he thinks and what he's planning to do with the club, other than some press sound bites, which is why you're sat behind the keyboard and he's running the club. We're less than six months into new ownership. Why are people going on about how it isn't working or isn't going to work already?

Also, there's a difference between posting something constructive and throwing out pathetic insults which we've seen on here. However you dress it up, some people are quite obviously hoping that Salford will fail.

Quote: Roofs "The problem though (as Bradford found) is you can't bribe people with free tickets forever. Once it reaches the stage where you have to start charging them they'll drift away again, e.g. Bullmania was supposedly back last season as the 10,000 crowds returned. Now those gates are back to 7500, presumably because they've stopped the four-quid-a-game farce which the fifty quid passes equated to.
This guy will soon realise his mistake (eg Salford do not even really have the potential to be a worthy SL club, never mind a big one) he'll be on to his next project (hopefully).
You do try to give the appearance of being an expert on clubs outside of Hull, while it is your own club which has the most immediate need of assistance. Both clubs,Bradford and Salford, appear to have a future beyond 2013.
I don't understand your use of the word 'mistake'.The situation has not deteriorated since he purchased the club in January and even though he has not had time to place his feet under the table there are early signs of improvements.
The fact that Dr Koukash is willing to 'get his hands dirty' and publicise the sport to those youngsters overwhelmed by the publicity given to the round ball game should be warmly applauded but you serve notice of your mindset by wishing him away from rugby league and onto 'his next project'.
I am pleased to see that you do appear to be just a 'one-off' from the core HULL KR following, who,in the main, are intelligent and passionate about the sport of rugby league.
