Can't knock Salford almost filled their end. Wigan fans saving for OT that looks unlikely at this stage

Yeah I'm not looking at the away fans. It's not up to the away side to fill a stadium. The home team in the stadiums we have should be able to fill them. They are not huge stadiums and the crowds in the playoffs have been poor.

There needs to be something put in place which includes these games on season tickets. Its an issue that has always been there

Add on £50-60 a season ticket with any unused playoff tickets giving a discount to next seasons quite easy really.

It’s surely not the money that’s the issue and more interest in the game in general along with an expectancy and arrogant stand point from Wigan fans that their team will be at OT. If it is for money reasons then it’s even more of a disgrace. Look at the NRL grand final, standard tickets are going for over 100 aus dollars.

Utter bull$hit. If you support your team fork out £18 for a playoff game. That sort of attitude is a disgrace. Is everyone in Wigan, Bolton, Preston & Chorley on minimum wage?

Check out play off game attendances throughout the last 20 years. They are always lower than regular round games. I'm not a wigan fan but it's not just Wigan and a game wide problem. Too many league games as it is, CC , Magic weekend. Lots for the average family to pay for across the season. Lots of fans especially at the usual sides who make OT regular simply save the money for the final if their team make it. Its not ideal and you many not like but that's how it is.

This is certainly not just a Wigan issue. The play offs in general don't draw crowds.

Arguably one of the biggest underdog stories in sporting history is on the cards, and RL fans moan about the fckuing crowd!
