Got no gripe with Salford BUT

Off the field you surpass Wakefield in pretty much every aspect apart from management e.g Koukash v Carter

New stadium you barely fill week in week out
A decent coaching set up with Tim Sheens at the helm
Playing rosters of top 8 quality (on paper)

And even with our awful season last year this year you have the same if not worse attendance average than us.

This isn't a go at the Salford supporters that turn up, it's stating facts. Like the fact that Wakefield and Castleford have the worst grounds in super league.

We should be getting good attendances, though, given our form of late. I'm sure you'll agree that Hull FC getting back towards attendances of 12/13,000 is good news for the sport.

Salford public are not great RL fans. There's far too many options for spending their spare time in other areas. Premiership football teams, Trafford centre & everything around it, Manchester city centre a few miles away etc etc. A lot of RL teams are in towns that have pretty much nothing else going on, where RL is at the heart of the community. That's not a pop, btw, it's just common sense. You add into the mix, thirty five years of mismanagement and decline and I think it's a wonder we get anyone through the turnstiles.

Slow progress and time will help.

That seems to have been the case, there can't have been many more than 200 away fans. We also have the next 2 home games on a Thursday so yet more reduced crowds.

Our lowest attendance in the regular season last season was 3,015 versus Catalans so not sure where you are getting

didnt think the fc v saints gate was bad on saturday, 11200, considering hull city were at wembley on the same day

Considering the vast oceans of empty seats in the Tigers end on saturday i would say it had very little impact on FC's crowd.

was quite suprised tbh, was expecting 8 or 9000, four or five regulars who normally sit round us were missing on saturday, but they were away on holidays

widnes, kr and leeds to play, should hit decent figures for the last two home games before the split, then i expect crowds to drop right off
