What's the problem with the pic? Don;t you know HKR have an NHS fitness initiative? The Hull fan is merely getting paid 1.50 to offer himself as a exercise option for overweight HKR fans. All seems very amicable and applaudable to me. Like this next one, its not violence just a new climbing fitness regime for Hull fans, and the last pic is part of Hull's training squad for when shoe throwing enters the Olympics, forwd thinking lot Hull people!

Interesting picture of the Stoop. Couple of points:
1. That shot must be at least two years old as that's the old south stand.
2. The stand on the right is the West Stand. Rarely opened for League matches and from the look of the pitch it's way before kick off any way.

The guardian did a similar thing recently. Took a photo from the South Stand of the West and North Stands, missing out the East Stand. The Majority of supporters sit in the East Stand. The camera usually lies!

I appreciate these maybe subordinated loans and rank at the bottom of creditors list,however they are still classed as debt.

TB - If its not a debt why do the FSA class it as such?The subordinated loans still show as a liability and technically still classed as debt.

Also if you take out the long term liabilities(which i presume would cover the subordinated loans) the club still has a deficit,so would this still indicate some debt?

I have no wish to have a long running debate over this,however if you can point me in the direction of a link that shows subordinated loans are not classed as debt i will accept they are nearly debt free.

Quins are free of any debt that is anywhere near likely to ever need to be, asked to be, or be paid back. The Debts they have are to their owner

As i said, other than petty point scoring it is of no use to anyone. Only somebody looking to score points would look to equate quins subordinate directors loans with 'debts' as used in the context discussed in this thread.

Exaclty the same for David Hughes. He owns the club....throws cash at it that he knows he will never see again.......but it doesn't owe him or anyone else money.

Smokey and co can argue semantics all they like....doesn't change the fact that every penny DH throws at the club is money that he doesn't expect to ever get back. What he calls this money is purely down to what tax breaks he can get......after all, 1.5 million a year is bad enough without the bastrd tax man getting his pound of flesh as well

Does the fact that he knows he will never get his money back reflect better or worse on Quins than other clubs where the directors make loans in the expectation that the club will at some point be financially capable enough to repay them, hence carrying the debt on the balance sheet?

don't care how it reflects......FACT IS WE ARE DEBT FREE.
There are about 2...maybe 3 clubs in SL who make money....the others, including Quins RL all lose varying amounts of cash. David Hughes has decided that he will cover these losses every year.........therefore, we are debt free.
And...our fans have never done this.


RL.......a family game. Regardless of the excuses rolled out, IMO this is worse than Wakey or Crusaders going into administration...it is a disgrace. Even on your own boards there's a thread about the behaviour of your own fans....swearing at your own players.......yeah...you're a real credit to SL. Your 10 (or is that 9) overseas players......a real credit to the game........why keep you in SL when there is a better run, more profitable club, in a bigger and better stadium next door....with more fans.

1. If you think Hull KR are the only club to have had crowd trouble/disturbances in the last 3-4 years you are very wrong.
2. Hull KR and Hull FC draw over 30,000 rugby fans over two derbies in the city. If that doesn't help boost the profile and respect given to English RL I don't know what does.
3. Sky love the passion that both Hull clubs bring to SL.
4. Hull and Rovers average 12,000 and 8000 respectively, crowds your pathetic experiment can only ever dream of (you only shifted 9000 for a damn Cup Final in your own 8 million population city ffs!)
5. Hull KR won promotion in 2006, finished 11th in SL in 2007 (thus avoided relegation, despite been most peoples' tips for the drop), climbed 4 places to 7th in 2008, another 3 places in 2009, then despite finishing lower the next season (7th) claimed their first-ever play-off win. Who in the right mind could criticise that progress.

Face it GF, you're a nothing Experiment, very few people in the capital care about Fulcrubronquins Experiment and that'll never change. Both Hull clubs won their places in SL through the traditional, fair method of promotion, your Experiment were wrongly fast-tracked. Therefore if anyone should get kicked out it's your NL1/2 size Experiment (and I don't mean any disrespect to NL1 or 2 clubs by that).
