| Quote ="Dreamer"Not "tetchy", just bored of people who skim (rather than actually read) posts, get the wrong end of the stick, then reply to something that was not there.
Right got that.
Look I was in no way being denigrating of your train of thought as, previously explained.
But it was a bit of an ham fisted statement the manner you injected about him having to face some "BIG hits", making it seem that you were implying these would be something that he hasn't experienced previously.
I enjoyed the main thrust of your post but honestly thought that that portion was misguided.
Again, no offence intended.
I simply said "if he does not come fully fit he might get a shock". Fairly honest statement and easy to understand.
I wasn't even suggesting he would do that but I could point to many NRL "names" who have come here either unfit, uninterested or both and found life hard.
The whole thrust of my post was to show how good he could be for your club if he wants to, I even used the example of Joe Grima for us.
If you think that's me being flippant or having a dig then you must live in a strange world

Just to emphasise it AGAIN and in case you miss it, I HOPE HE DOES WELL.'"

It doesn't prove that at all.
I could imagine that one of the lower clubs in SL, one of those potentially ripe for relegation --- here I am thinking of Wakefield, and perhaps even Widnes -- might sign him. But the elite clubs at the top of the ladder, like St Helens, Wigan, Warrington and Catalans, would not take on a 30 to 40 minute player at that high wage.

You are both "hamfisted" and "misguided" to put your reply inside the "quote" box
I've read through the statement you made above, and to be honest it does not make any sense. I've also read through my original post again, and it's perfectly ok. I therefore suggest the mistake is with your understanding of the English language

Rather like Graham Taylor, I would just love it if Catalans didn't make the Top 8 and had to slum it with the likes of Leigh in the Middle 8. Still, at least they'd only have to stoop to playing against FFMM for a mere 30 minutes.

Quite correct! It was Graham Taylor who said "do I not like Orange"! However, the underlying sentiment remains unchanged.

That is the beauty of this signing for Leigh and for Fui Fui himself: he won't have to face opposition as fierce and talented as Sam Burgess. He will make an impact simply by virtue of the weakness of his opposition.
In the event of Leigh being promoted to Super League in 2016, Fui Fui will probably not want to face the heightened competition, especially of props from the top four clubs whom I mentioned in an earlier post. He may not want to take up a second year option, if offered. So far he has chosen his correct level for this stage of his career.

Careful!
I mentioned that a few days ago and I've had a stalker ever since. He'll be on here like a flash calling you "misguided"
In all honesty, if his attitude and training are right, he'll be pretty awesome in the championship.

The SL clubs media and marketing managers are, or should be, targeting their local areas as that's where the vast majority of their income comes from. They're also currently targeting their core support in order to sell season tickets and shirts.
Why would they be hugely bothered about the RL page of the BBC Sport website. Local news, their own websites and social media are far better tools for them at the moment.

The second year of the contract is Leigh's option. Moimoi wanted a 2 year contract and we negotiated a deal that lets us end our commitment after 12 months if we're not happy. The club has gone in to this deal with their eyes open. We have invested money in a player we have plans to exploit commercially and expect to perform on the pitch. I trust Paul Rowley's judgement, he's rarely been wrong but if he is then we have a safety net.
