I agree with you 100%. Without being defensive, I think the 3 lions would be the key feature in my suggested logo. I was just explaining my thinking behind the roses. England RU use just a red rose but don't think people see this as representing just lancashire.

An Aussie might tell you, "Stand up smurf". And he'd be right, England should be more English and Wales should be more Welsh, it's nothing to do with the colour of your skin but the language and how well you speak it.
The badge could be worse, it's orite, you should keep it. Besides IMO should be Europe. |

| We'll professional opinion is that the current England badge is a big obvious and not very iconic at all, I think it could have been far better.
The GB RL lion logo is IMO an absolute classic, a great piece of sporting logo design in fact it's one of my favourite logos of all time (it's probably sad that I have such a list  ) |

Yes it's 3 lions but it differentiates itself from the football version by being red instead of white. Insert the words England Rugby League somewhere.

The England cross badge is ok in my opinion, but I wonder if a rugby ball and a XIII could be incorporated in some way.
The old England crest was dreadful.
The gold/red three lions crest is used already - by England Hockey.
A tudor flower would be a viable option, but I doubt most people would see it and think England.
Maybe have a teacup and teapot?

Have the Golden Lion's head on the old Britain top, like the one used in the 2001 Kangaroos tour, but with a round collar. The England flag should have a bit of blue in it anyhow, it looks terrible IMO.
