Nahoobo is not to be trusted one iota. Every club he has become involved in has put up with his espousing his love for them, only for him to walk away (sometimes owing money). It seems that industry have already figured this out, Probiz have already been taken through the High Court by Williams Accountancy over "dishonest practise". However, sports clubs are so busy 'chasing the dream' that normal caution seems to be forgotten.
However, one does have to question why clubs are so eager to become involved with a business that is all about payment avoidance! Cas did nothing wrong or out of the ordinary, it's perfectly normal for a 2-year sponsorship deal to be paid in two parts, the mistake was believing that Nahoobo would pay. Steve Ferres has said he will be asking the RFL to become involved should the money not be forthcoming.

Wonder if its a loan deal similar to the one he offered Cas Tigers.

Any comment from a Cas fan concerning this character is going to smack of sour grapes and I do genuinely hope this deal works out for Fev but I hope Fev fans will remember that he is not a Fev fan or even a RL fan for that matter but a businessman who will put his own financial interests above anything else.

From an objective viewpoint surely he wouldnt be allowed to get involved in one club with outstanding issues at another?

The RFL would verify that surely?

Large investment in another grubby small town northern M62 RL club is the last thing RL needs. We've got enough of those.

There's that word again - investment. It doesn't belong in this game. There is no such thing.

An investment in a traditional financial sense is one you make with the intention of - at some point - being able to take out more money than you put in.

I don't think those kinds of investor are going to touch professional sport with a barge pole.

Your typical professional sport investor sees their "return" as being their particular favourite club being more successful, or just staying in business. They're still investors, just ones who are resigned to the fact that the money they invest isn't coming back.

Featherstone bring more to RL in a day than London has managed in it's entirety - nobody want's you other than the tiny minority who frequent this site. Most fans on the terraces want Fev and Fax back, but nobody listens.

I wish London would finally just go and your type would go with it.

totally agree with Vasty but I'm a whippet breeding northerner with my RLfans page set-up to Flat cap mode !

The unfortunate fact is that if Fax and Fev had the fans on the terraces, they would be in SL and they would be welcome.
