Although he played excellently for us, the player we had who went back to Aus and ripped it up was Gavin Miller. He was almost a nobody when he came to us but went on to play origin on his return to Aus.

I would have him up there but I remember a young man who Saint's had called Meninga who did quiet well when he went home.

IIRC Meninga was already an up and coming player who only came for 1 season. Whereas Miller was virtually a nobody.

Surprised how many are saying Colin Best, he has gone back and had a good career but he was really good for Hull too, would probably make my best team in the superleague era. His stats for tackle busts and breaks etc were second only to Vianakolo for his two seasons here.

Good shout. I didn't really think much of him when he was over here the first time.
